Lost & Found
24 pages, 8"x5", laser printed, 2021
This book was composed from self portraits from my sketchbooks made in 2020-21.  As I was making and sharing more autobiographical comics I realized that the hair of my cartoon avatar was not keeping pace with my real hair.  There was a difference in how I thought I looked verses how I actually looked.  Forgetting that detail made me wonder: How do I keep track of myself? Why is it so easy to forget what I look like even though I had drawn myself almost every day for a year?
