Untested Collection
Gallery on Main, Iowa State University, Ames IA
Fall 2018
Organized by Cam Gray, Paige Holzbauer, and AJ Zandt with April Katz.
This project was part of the exhibition "Under(printed) Construction". I was invited by Cameron Gray on behalf of the printmaking graduate students at Iowa State University to come as a visiting artist. As part of the visit the students organized an exhibition of my work. This particular installation was organized and completed by the students at Iowa State. I sent instructions, a basic plan, and cutouts, but the piece was completed without my direct supervision.

Paper Making Workshop
My visit to Iowa State took place at the end of the exhibition. Following an artist talk students and volunteers from the community helped deinstall and pulp the installation. We spent two days in the gallery space running a papermaking workshop where we made some 300 sheets of recycled paper. On the second day of the workshop the students set up a print station with relief blocks, ink, and a press. Participants were encouraged to make relief prints using the newly formed sheets of recycled paper.
